Spring 2018 Cheerleading



Welcome to the Spring 2018 Cheerleading Registration with the McKinney Sports Connection!

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation or sponsorships and submit payment. To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or checking account information available.  Following the completion of this registration, you will see a charge on your account from McKinney Sports Conne.  You will also have the ability to pay offline.  Please read the "Registration Information" below before continuing.


Registration is open until February 9, 2018:  Players not completely registered (registered and paid in full) by Friday, February 9, 2018 will be charged a late fee of $25 and will only be accepted if there is room available (determined by MSC and coach).

Spring 2018 Cheerleading Registration


  • Dates:  Regular registration will close Friday, February 9, 2018 @11:59pm.
  • Registration Fee:  $95 McKinney Resident ($105 Non-Resident)
  • Late Registration:  Will be open in grade levels with available room from February 10, 2018 to February 16, 2018.  A $25 late fee will be added to all late registrations.  
  • Grades:  Cheer is open to girls in grades Kinder through 6th grade.  Cheer squads may consist of girls from more than one grade level.
  • Late Registration Fee:  $120 McKinney Residents ($130 Non-Residents)
  • Number of games:  Season will consist of a minimum of 8 games + End of Season single elimination tournament based on standings
  • Game Information:  Games will be played on Monday nights beginning March 19th at the Craig Ranch Soccer Soccer Complex in McKinney.   In some instances games may be played on other weeknights or weekends (including Sundays) (re-schedules due to weather).  Spring Break (McKinney ISD) & STAAR testing dates will be taken into consideration by the league when scheduling games - MSC will make every effort to not schedule late games for grade levels testing the next day.
  • Awards:  All cheerleaders receive participation trophies.  Placement trophies are not given in Cheerleading.         
  • Uniforms & Equipment:  A team shirt & set of pom poms is included in the registration fee for Spring 2018 Cheerleading.  Cheer uniforms are not required for Spring Cheer, however returning squads are welcome to wear theirs from the fall.  

  • Inclement Weather:  Rescheduled games (due to inclement weather) and some tournament games MAY be scheduled during other weeknights and/or the weekends as well.

  • Refunds:  Refunds after regular registration ends (February 9, 2018) are subject to a $25 administrative fee. No refunds will be given after February 28, 2018. Refunds requested due to practice conflicts will be subject to a $25 administrative fee.

  • Team Requests:  Players should make a team request only if they know they are returning to a specific team or if a coach has requested them.  

  • Returning Players:  Every effort will be made to honor specific team and/or friend requests; however, these requests cannot be guaranteed.  

  • Practice Information: Practices are set at the discretion of the coach.  All practice days/times will be determined after registration has closed and teams have been formed.  Players cannot be changed to other teams due to practice schedule conflicts.  If a player has a conflict with the chosen practice time or cannot play for any reason, the parent may request a refund in writing before February 28, 2018, however, there is a $25 non-refundable fee which will be withheld from the refund.  No refunds will be given after February 28, 2018.
